About Therapy

  • Appointments are currently only offered virtually. In-person appointments will be available starting in December 2025.

Virtual appointments are conducted through a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform and available to individuals located anywhere in the state of Michigan.

  • I ask that notice is provided 24 hours prior to your appointment if the need for cancellation arises. A fee is charged for cancellations after this window or for not showing up to an appointment.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, and this can be adjusted based on need, preference, and financial considerations.

  • Intake appointment: Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to learn more about what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your background, current concerns, and goals for our work together. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions and get a sense of my approach, so you can decide if it feels like a good fit. By the end of the session, we’ll collaborate on a plan for moving forward.

Subsequent sessions: In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and collaborative space where you set the focus. We’ll explore what’s on your mind, make sense of patterns that might be getting in the way, and practice tools to help you handle challenges and move toward the life you want.
